ELTROPLAN-REVCON pursues and continuously implements possibilities to improve environmental, occupational and quality management aspects. Efficient occupational and health protection is an equally priority besides the high quality standard to secure jobs and the company.
We commit ourselves to the protection of the environment and the efficient use of natural resources and we are audited according to DIN 26000 every year.
We at REVCON consider the whole value chain and determine how many emissions are produced by which activity, from the supply of raw materials and precursors via our own production and the use of the products we produce. We have a small 30kW PV power plant on the roof of our production building, which will grow in the next years step by step and all the other electric energy is purchased from renewable energy projects.
Our company-wide CO2 emissions reduction target in Scope 1 (natural gas, petrol, diesel) and Scope 2 (electricity) by 2025 is 45%. Our Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions intensity (per sales unit) will be reduced by 64% from 2021 to 2024.
The percentage value represents the ratio of CO2 emissions per sales unit in the first year and the last year.

ELTROPLAN-REVCON does not only focus on the production of high-quality products, but also on environmentally conscious handling of the materials used. Rising CO2emissions and the continuously reduced availability of natural resources are sufficient grounds to further optimise all our processes. Particularly regarding our product optimisation, we pay special attention to saving energy and try to be more energy-efficient. The location Germany offers optimal general conditions for environmental protection.
However, in most cases the use of a regen unit has mainly economic reasons, yet energy saving also has effects on man and the environment. Approximately 900MW of feedback energy was activated due to the use of regen units since the establishment of ELTROPLAN-REVCON GmbH. This achievement corresponds to about 80% of the rated output of an average German nuclear power plant.
If we assume that only 5% of this output is active on average, 450,000 tons of CO2 per year are saved by using REVCON regen units compared to German coal-fired power plants! To further improve our CO2 footprint, we have to look at the significance of the entire value chain.
This is why we place particular importance on the fact that our materials are supplied by responsible suppliers only. All our products are subject to an individual inspection in order to supply you with maximum quality.
